ElevateGCSE is a UK-based tutoring organisation operating in Stratford, London, focused on GCSE academic improvement.

  • Parent/guardian’s name, email, and phone number

  • Referrer details (name/contact)

  • Academic data (grades, mock scores, progress, homework)

  • Session recordings (video/audio, where applicable)

  • Homework submissions, revision usage, and attendance data

  • Availability/preferences (e.g., weekend times)

  • Communication history (email, WhatsApp, forms)

  • Technical data via Google Analytics, Squarespace Analytics, and Zapier integrations

  • Payment information processed securely via Stripe (not stored by us)

Section 4: How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Schedule and deliver tutoring sessions

  • Track academic progress and personalise learning plans

  • Communicate with students and parents

  • Issue updates, behaviour reports, and performance summaries

  • Provide personalised revision support

  • Fulfil refund/guarantee evaluations

  • Analyse and improve our services

We do not sell or share your data with unauthorised third parties.

Section 5: Who We Share Data With

We share relevant data only when necessary with:

  • Tutors and mentors for academic support

  • Zapier, Google Workspace, and Trello (automated backend)

  • Stripe (for secure payment processing)

  • Zoom, WhatsApp, and Google Drive (for session delivery and file sharing)

  • ChatGPT/OpenAI (only with parental consent for AI-personalised revision)

Section 6: Data Retention & Deletion

  • Data is retained only for as long as necessary for academic or legal reasons.

  • Session recordings are stored for up to 12 months unless requested otherwise.

  • You may request deletion of data by contacting: info@elevategcse.co.uk.

  • If you withdraw from ElevateGCSE, we will delete your data upon written request unless legal grounds require retention.

Section 7: Email & Communication Policy

  • Students and parents will receive essential emails (session updates, reports, behaviour notes). These are mandatory and cannot be opted out of.

  • Marketing or promotional emails (e.g., enrolment offers) are optional and can be unsubscribed from at any time.

Section 8: Data Access & Portability

  • Students and parents may request access to performance records (typically stored on Google Drive or internal trackers).

  • Requests will be handled within 14 working days of submission.

Section 9: Under-13 Policy

We do not knowingly collect data from students under the age of 13.

If a student is found to be under 13, we will seek verified parental consent or delete their data immediately.

Section 10: Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of your personal data

  • Request correction or deletion

  • Withdraw consent (where applicable)

  • File a complaint with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office)
